On the gallery walls is drawn with graphite a classical interior with arches, niches and columns. This architectural sketch is the support for the several artworks on display. Actually there are six niches each holding a major work surrounded by others of smaller scale. On the floor a long mosaic-like photocopy panel is the base for objects and maquettes and it leads to a monumental tower of suitcases. The installation underlying theme is our memory of war, with references to the spoils, the documents and the monuments through which we idealise and justify a culture of violence.
